Job Description

Senior Financial Analyst (Reporting & Analytics)

Join a fast-growing, multi-entity healthcare services organization where your reporting and analytical work directly shapes decisions at the highest levels. The Senior Financial Analyst (Reporting & Analytics) supports financial reporting, consolidation, and performance analysis, blending a strong accounting foundation with the analytical depth needed to turn complex results into clear, actionable insight for senior leadership, private equity sponsors, and lenders.

You will lead monthly management reporting and board-ready deliverables, including adjusted EBITDA analysis, cash flow and liquidity reporting, and performance narratives that explain the “why” behind the numbers. Working closely with Accounting, Operations, and Revenue Cycle, you’ll translate performance drivers, support forecasting, and continuously raise reporting quality in a dynamic, private-equity-backed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead consolidation and validation of financial results across entities.
  • Review and report monthly financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Partner with Accounting to validate underlying data prior to reporting.
  • Prepare monthly adjusted EBITDA calculations and supporting add‑back schedules.
  • Reconcile adjusted EBITDA to GAAP results and maintain consistent documentation.
  • Prepare net income‑to‑adjusted EBITDA bridges and period‑over‑period analyses.
  • Prepare leadership and board‑level reporting packages, including financial statements, KPIs, variance analysis, and narrative commentary.
  • Support lender and private equity reporting, including covenant schedules, compliance certificates, and recurring deliverables.
  • Partner with Revenue Cycle to analyze revenue, contractual adjustments, denials, and bad debt and provide net revenue accruals to Accounting monthly.
  • Support timely and accurate close for assigned accounts.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and rolling outlooks.
  • Prepare and maintain a 13‑week cash flow forecast and variance analysis.
  • Prepare a monthly cash flow waterfall, explaining working capital movements, debt service, distributions, and non‑recurring items.
  • Improve reporting efficiency through standardized templates, automation, and documentation across monthly reporting and consolidation.
  • Use QuickBooks Online and LiveFlow (or similar tools) to automate data pulls, consolidation, and management reporting packages.
  • Participate in special projects and reporting initiatives as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • 5+ years in FP&A, reporting, analytics, or a blended accounting/analysis role.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statements.
  • Advanced Excel and comfort with reporting systems.
  • Ability to clearly communicate financial performance and forward‑looking impacts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in a PE‑backed healthcare services or sponsor‑backed environment.
  • Ability to prepare executive‑ and board‑level reporting.
  • Working knowledge of adjusted EBITDA and PE reporting conventions.
  • Familiarity with LiveFlow, Fathom, or similar tools.
  • Contributions to improving reporting processes, models, or automation.

What We Provide:

  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Ancillary Benefits (Full-Time)
  • 401(k) plan with up to 3% company match
  • PTO & Holiday
