Job Description Salesforce Developer (Experience Cloud)

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)

Position Type: Contract (6 Months)

AZDES is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer specializing in Salesforce Experience Cloud to support enterprise-scale initiatives. This hybrid role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on development expertise, and the ability to design scalable, high-performance solutions for external-facing platforms.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Experience Cloud architecture, Lightning Web Runtime (LWR), and modern Salesforce development practices.

• Lead end-to-end architecture of Salesforce Experience Cloud sites
• Evaluate and select between LWR and Aura frameworks based on business needs
• Design secure solutions using:
  • External Identity
  • SSO integrations
  • Advanced sharing models (Apex Managed Sharing, Account Relationship Sharing)
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and branching strategies for Experience Cloud deployments

• Develop high-performing Lightning Web Components (LWC) optimized for LWR
• Implement personalized user journeys using:
  • Audience Targeting
  • Salesforce CMS
• Build scalable automation solutions using:
  • Headless Flows
  • Asynchronous Apex
• Ensure performance optimization and governor limit compliance

• Integrate Salesforce with external systems (ERP, AWS, Marketing Cloud) via REST/SOAP APIs
• Utilize Salesforce Data Cloud for unified customer views
• Maintain reusable and scalable API frameworks

• Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Present technical strategies and roadmaps to stakeholders
• Mentor junior developers and support team best practices

• 8+ years of Salesforce development experience
• 4+ years focused on Salesforce Experience Cloud (Communities)
• Proven experience leading end-to-end Experience Cloud architecture (must be clearly reflected in resume)
• Strong expertise in:
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Apex
  • JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS/SLDS
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Salesforce CLI / SFDX
  • DevOps and CI/CD processes
• Salesforce Experience Cloud Certification (MANDATORY)

• Experience with:
  • Service Cloud
  • Marketing Cloud
  • UI/UX best practices

• Bachelor's Degree (required)

• Hybrid Model In-office approximately once per week
• Location Restriction: Local candidates only (Phoenix, AZ area)
• Must be available for in-person interviews within 1 week of posting close date
• Must be able to start within 2 weeks of offer
• No travel required
• Background check and drug screening required (HireRight)

• Contract Duration: 6 months
• Hours: 40/week (Day Shift)
• Security Clearance: Required
