Job Description

Be the Bridge to Opportunity in Culpeper.

In a close-knit community, a job is more than a paycheck - it’s a connection. At Omega Health Services , we believe that every individual in Culpeper, regardless of their challenges, has a talent the local workforce needs.

We are looking for a Career Advocate who is part coach, part strategist, and 100% champion for our clients. If you want a role where you aren't stuck behind a desk, but out in the community changing lives, this is it.

The Mission: Changing the Local Landscape:

  • Redefine Independence: You won’t just give advice; you’ll work side-by-side with individuals to architect career paths that provide true autonomy.
  • Anchor Success: From the first resume draft to the first day on the job, you are the steady partner ensuring our clients transition smoothly and stay employed long-term.
  • Empower Local Business: Act as a consultant for Culpeper employers, helping them discover the massive value of hiring individuals with diverse abilities and unique perspectives.
  • Lead with Purpose: Join a nationally recognized, CARF-accredited leader (SDVOSB/MBE) that is actively making the Virginia workforce more inclusive.

A Day in the Life: How You’ll Make an Impact:

  • Blueprinting Careers: You’ll sit down with clients to map out their strengths and goals, creating a personalized "Action Plan" for their future.
  • Opening Doors: You’ll lead the way through interview prep, application cycles, and workplace integration.
  • Solving Puzzles: You’ll identify and advocate for the right tools - like assistive technology or modified tasks - to ensure your clients can perform at their best.
  • Building a Culture of Belonging: You’ll coach local teams on how to support their new hires, ensuring everyone wins.

The Rewards (The Omega Edge):

  • Invested Growth: We pay for your path. Get access to scholarships, career development, and top-tier certifications (ACRE, CESP, WIP-C).
  • Work-Life Harmony: Enjoy a field-based schedule that offers the freedom to manage your own day and move beyond the constraints of a traditional office desk.
  • Comprehensive Wellness: Competitive compensation paired with monthly COMPT stipends for your lifestyle needs and the SmartDollar financial wellness program.
  • Full Benefits: Comprehensive Health & Dental, Life Insurance, Long-Term Disability, and "Earn-as-you-go" Paid Time Off + Paid Holidays.
  • Tools for Success: We provide your tablet, software, and full mileage/expense reimbursement.

The Essentials (What We’re Looking For):

We care more about your drive and empathy than a specific degree.

  • Experience: Whether you have a Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s with 1 year of experience, or a HS Diploma with 2 years of relevant work/life experience - we want to talk to you.
  • Heart: A genuine desire to serve veterans and individuals with disabilities.
  • Mobility: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (we’ll pay for the miles!).
  • Communication: The ability to talk to a client one hour and a business owner the next.
