Radiation Therapist

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Radiation Therapist to join our healthcare team in providing exceptional patient care. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, focusing on delivering radiation treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients in accordance with physician prescriptions and established protocols.
  • Ensure the accurate operation of radiation therapy equipment, maintaining adherence to safety standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with the radiation oncology team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.
  • Utilize healthcare informatics tools for data acquisition, storage, and retrieval, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate optimal care delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Radiation Therapy or equivalent required.
  • Certification in Radiation Therapy, in good standing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Experience with Aria, Eclipse Treatment Planning, and Phillips CT software is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety principles and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
