Job Description

As a Pool Attendant, you’ll help create a fun, relaxing, and welcoming atmosphere for guests enjoying the rooftop pool deck. From keeping fresh towels stocked and lounge chairs perfectly arranged to interacting with guests and sharing information about hotel amenities, this role is all about creating a clean, upbeat, resort-style experience in the middle of Music City.  

Schedule  

Typical shift: 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM * Availability on weekends and holidays is required   

QUALIFICATIONS  

• Outgoing, bubbly, and guest-focused personality
• Positive attitude with strong hospitality instincts
• Ability to stay active and move fast during busy pool hours
• Team player who thrives in a lively atmosphere
• skills and confidence interacting with guests
• Ability to lift and move towels, chairs, and pool furniture as needed
• Knowledge of hotel amenities and Nashville attractions is a plus
• Previous hospitality, resort, or customer service experience preferred  

PERFORMANCE STANDARDS

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods outdoors
• Comfortable working in warm weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and rearrange pool furniture and supplies

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS  

• Keep the rooftop pool deck clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout the day
• Refresh, fold, and restock pool towels consistently
• Reorganize lounge chairs, umbrellas, and furniture to maintain an inviting atmosphere
• Greet guests with a warm, upbeat, “Margaritaville-style” attitude
• Answer guest questions about hotel amenities, dining options, entertainment, and local attractions
• Move quickly and efficiently to support guest needs in a fast-paced environment
• Monitor the pool area for cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation
• Assist in opening and closing the rooftop pool area daily
• Help create a fun, relaxing experience that reflects the Margaritaville lifestyle
