Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Phlebotomist responsible for collecting blood samples from patients for laboratory testing. The role involves ensuring patient comfort, proper specimen handling, and maintaining accuracy and safety standards in a clinical or laboratory environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all age groups
• Label, process, and transport specimens according to lab protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety guidelines
• Verify patient identity and explain procedures to ensure comfort and compliance
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment
• Coordinate with lab staff and healthcare professionals for timely sample processing
