Job Title: Hospitalist

Location: Marion, IL VA Health Care System

Job Type: Full-Time

The Marion, IL VA Health Care System is seeking a dedicated Hospitalist to provide high-quality, patient-centered care for our veteran inpatients. Join our collaborative healthcare team and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who have served our country.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive internal medicine care to hospitalized veterans.

Perform history and physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate treatment plans.

Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and other team members.

Participate in multi-disciplinary rounds and discharge planning.

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.

Engage in quality improvement initiatives and continuing medical education.

Qualifications:

MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.

Unrestricted U.S. medical license.

Completion of an accredited residency program.
