Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Budget Analyst to support a federal program onsite at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling in Washington, DC. This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI Clearance.

The selected candidate will provide financial planning, budgeting, reporting, and program management support for mission-critical government initiatives. This role is responsible for budget formulation, execution, financial analysis, project funding recommendations, audit support, and financial reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective financial management and compliance.

Worldwide travel may be required based on program needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform budget planning, formulation, and execution.
  • Monitor financial performance and budget status.
  • Prepare financial reports and budget analyses.
  • Analyze current and future funding requirements.
  • Support financial management activities.
  • Provide recommendations regarding project funding.
  • Support financial audits and compliance activities.
  • Track project expenditures and financial performance.
  • Coordinate with program stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate financial documentation.
  • Support mission-critical government programs.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in financial analysis and budget management.
  • Experience with budget planning, formulation, and execution.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and budget forecasting.
  • Experience supporting audits and financial compliance.
  • Ability to analyze funding requirements and provide financial recommendations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) or other federal government programs preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance required.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
