Job Description

I am currently working with a leading general contracting firm in Austin, Texas, specializing in commercial construction projects. Their team is dedicated to delivering high-quality construction solutions while prioritizing safety, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Position Summary:

They are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client relations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams effectively
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies on all projects
  • Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to clients and leadership
  • Resolve issues and implement solutions proactively to maintain project momentum
  • Support contract negotiations and procurement of materials

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management with a general contractor
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and construction best practices
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Buildertrend, or similar)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
