Front of House Manager

Job Description:
As a Front of House Manager , you will work under the General Manager and Assistant General Manager to oversee daily front-of-house operations. You will lead the service team during shifts, ensure exceptional guest experiences, and maintain high standards for service, cleanliness, and efficiency.
This role is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives on the floor, enjoys coaching teams in real time, and takes pride in delivering consistent, high-level service.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage front-of-house operations during service, ensuring smooth and efficient execution
Supervise and support hosts, servers, bartenders, food runners, and bussers
Ensure all guests receive attentive, high-quality service throughout their experience
Monitor dining room flow, table pacing, and section balance
Handle guest feedback, concerns, and service recovery with professionalism
Train, coach, and develop team members to meet service standards
Assist with onboarding and ongoing training of new hires
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service areas
Support scheduling, shift planning, and labor management as directed by GM/AGM
Ensure compliance with company policies, health regulations, and safety standards
Collaborate with kitchen leadership to ensure alignment between front and back of house
Assist with execution of private dining, events, and promotions
Complete opening and closing managerial duties, including reporting and shift recaps
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a full-service restaurant
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Professional demeanor and team-oriented mindset
Understanding of restaurant operations, including service standards and floor management
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
