Position Overview

As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the overall condition, appearance, and functionality of the property. You will be responsible for responding to service requests, completing repairs, assisting with apartment turns, and ensuring residents receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete resident service requests and work orders in a timely manner
• Perform general maintenance and repair work throughout the property
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and carpentry issues
• Prepare vacant apartments for new residents through make-ready and turnover work
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and repairs
• Maintain community amenities, common areas, and grounds
• Identify and report safety concerns or maintenance issues
• Work closely with property management to prioritize repairs and resident needs
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company standards and safety guidelines
• Provide professional and courteous customer service to residents and team members

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, or related experience preferred
• Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general carpentry
• Ability to diagnose maintenance issues and perform repairs efficiently
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
